1st Ave at B Street, San Mateo. 

Anti-tech sentiments are not uncommon.  And understandable.  This corner of downtown San Mateo seems to have a concentration of it, there's a huge anti-tech sign on the sidewalk outside the doughnut shop that a power washer has not been able to erase the f-bomb written loud and clear near the bus stop.  I'm not sure if there's a tech firm in particular in this spot that has drawn the ire of someone or if it's tech in general.

After my appointment I had to walk past this spot again to get to the train, the sign was gone, which is also not uncommon - the only graffiti that sticks around is along the train tracks.

Shitty focus on this but love the guy's style and mustache walking into the frame.  

What a week, no? 

Up to Portland tomorrow where the weather is going to be very different...  It'll be nice to get a taste of fall weather for a few days, read some books, and hopefully not have to do too much.
