Happy people

Here we are, parked in the living room, him watching his beloved rugby league (And England won - HOORAY!!) and me sort of watching (not really) and sewing. The weather was hail and high winds but still sometimes spectacular to watch from our vantage point. All snug indoors.

And he played golf too! A happy day :-)

LD and her lovely boyfriend have decided to part after years together. There has been a lot of grief and anxiety for all of us but they are such good friends and it has been a mutual decision so that I'm sure we will still see each other. I am so proud of them for making this call despite all the preparations that were in hand - it would have been easy to just go through with it.

So now, life opens up new horizons ... who ever knows what tomorrow will bring?!
