Karski & Beyond in Den Haag

Hague has some fine murals around the city, and this is by the dutch street artist Karski (1974) and Beyond (1983).  The duo are keen photographers and have come a long way from tagging and graffiti. They have background in graphic design and academy of fine art. 

Karski made his first mural in the slums of Harare, Zimbabwe and experienced that people that had before been ashamed of telling where they lived, became proud when the mural came was finished. 

Karski  & Beyond has worked together since 2002, and has kept the goal to change neighborhoods to more cool places to live in.
