lets eat cake!

i thought baking with my daughter would be fun, not when your daughter is a stubborn little thing!!

brought a peppa pig baking kit (just for ease) and erin was very excited to 'cook' she loved adding the mix, stirring the mix, adding the water, she wanted to crack the egg, but then the fun stopped. she didn't want to put the mix in the cases, she wanted it to go straight into the tin. 15 minutes waiting for the cakes to cook felt like a life time, she even sat on the kitchen floor to wait for them. it was so traumatic when i told her they had to cool. then came the time to decorate them, she stood and ate all but three of the peppa cake toppers and wanted to spoon the chocolate sauce straight into her mouth.
the main thing was she did have some giggles and seemed to enjoy eat and the cakes were yummy (well the small one i had was)
next time ill bake them and she can just decorate them!
