When Fergus had been in the Burn

11.4C starting with heavy showers but soon clearing to sunny sunshine. Westerly wind to 32 mph with gusts to 43 mph reducing to a moderate WSW/SW breeze.

Apothecary7's day off.

We went to Westport beach mid morning and had a long walk along towards Machrihanish.
Fergus had a good run along beside the dunes and down to the sea. Before he came back he decided to visit the burn that runs across the beach and have a drink.

We sat at the seat at the back of the beach for a while and watched the waves. Islay and Gigha were partly hidden by cloud and Jura was completely hidden. We had the whole beach to ourselves today.

Later Apothecary was catching up with her holiday photos.
