on the lake

A busy day dealing with all sorts of loose ends, complicated by me stupidly dropping my mobile phone in the loo and completely killing it. (sigh..) More expense.

We got in a quick walk at Lough Hyne in the late afternoon, mainly to try to use up some of the pup's boundless energy.

This evening the boy is here. This time we made chocolate truffles and watched a film about the Romans. But now he is avidly watching 'I'm a Celebrity'. I have sloped off.
