Tom and Janet

Tonight we were at the Northern Design Awards.
It was presented by Wayne Hemingway who started off with a stall at Afflecks palace next to Tom Bloxham (seen here with Janet) who had a shop selling posters.
They've both gone onto bigger things Wayne is now seen everywhere and Tom runs Urban Splash, a company that has done more than any other to rejuvenate Manchester.
Tom said that Wayne never buys new clothes and he was right. Wayne turned up and remarked that his coat was over 50 years old and took great delight in showing us how it was fraying around the edges.
