St. James's Park: Juvenile Great-crested Grebe

Pointier in large.

We went to Brixton Village first thing, but I wasn't very photographically focussed, so macro & flashed the fresh poinsettias at home.

THEN we went to see the Ross'sling at St. James's Park, but the Ross's goose family were being shy and keeping far from the path, so I photographed a pretty pale pigeon, this juvenile great-crested grebe (still showing traces of its striped head plumage), as well as the solitary bar-headed goose, and a dapper smew drake preening and flapping.

Others here (or right from Facing the wrong photographer).
