Bad Hair Day?

This tree in the 'walled garden' looks as if it's having a Bad Hair Day, doesn't it?

After the frost and fog, today's weather feature was ICE! It was really treacherous, especially on these country roads that don't get gritted. I regretted walking into Drymen to meet my friend Alison for lunch at the Drymen Inn, but had been looking forward to the fresh air and exercise. I contemplated getting a taxi back, but decided to risk it, and got home without ending up on my backside mishap.

A big pot of chicken soup has been made, the fire is about to be lit, and the house will be cosy by the time Strictly is on. With any luck I'll have a cat on my knee for added warmth!
