Hopetoun Christmas Fair

Really miserable day weather wise so dragged to The Fair, most surprised that it was good quality goods for sale not like some of the tat in the market in the town.
L got some Christmas presents so some progress.
Picture is of The Earl of Hopetoun that was presented to him in 1904 by his tenants & friends on his relinquishing the post of Governor General of Australia.
The others are of the local brass band playing in one of the rooms, the main dining room & the carving on the fireplace beneath the portrait.
