The morning after

Frost on the windscreen, a clear blue sky and sunshine ..... my kind of day but there is still plenty of evidence of yesterday's horrendous rain. Huge kerbside puddles and grassy areas in the park which have turned into mini ponds.

After having a cuppa L and I enjoyed a walk round Maxwell Park ... trying as hard as we could to keep our feet dry!

Met ex colleagues for lunch in one of the south side's very popular cafes. We always bump into someone we know ... today it was a 'girl' taught by three of us ....Louise in P4, me P5 and Christine P7. Helen is now a university lecturer but what a laugh we had as we reminisced over primary school antics and unforgettable characters.
