After the storm

This is a back-blip because on the day we had such a huge storm that our electric power was lost for over 24 hours. About 6.30 pm a huge wind and rain storm lashed (the right word) us for an hour or so. Horizontal rain probably means the rain gauge is not correct but it read 81mm next day. Trees were blown over. In Mintaro a couple, who were caught driving in the storm, survived a huge tree fall that crushed the front of their car as they were travelling. Amazingly, they were unhurt and escaped through the back tailgate of their 4WD. After the storm we had one of the most amazing sunsets that I have seen for a long time. Then night came and we sat around without power or even water, because the water here is supplied by an electric pump.
