Partial view of Lincoln Center Construction

This is another one of the interminable construction projects going on around New York City. It was started in the Spring of 2006. As to completion, the official website states it is "scheduled to be substantially completed for Lincoln Center's 50th anniversary celebration in 2009-2010." Note the weasel words "scheduled" and "substantially." Also the end date covers a rather long period.
The good news is most everything is still operating except for (unfortunately) the New York City Opera.
This is a partial view because much more has been torn up underground -- you almost need a map to get around.
Picture was taken during the intermission of a wonderful performance of Eugene Onegin at the Met.
