An unusual encounter

I was having camera issues today and most of the shots that I wanted to take when we were out for our walk have remained in my head. Back at the van we managed to resolve the problem, so the camera came along when we walked into town for lunch. That was lucky, or I would have missed this chappie. Of course, I had the wrong lens mounted and was dressed for lunch, not for getting down on the sandy floor. I took what I could get.
