Wind power

This is one of the large posters being displayed on the road to Dunoon protesting against a proposed wind farm in the area. 


There's a lot of strong feelings locally (for and against) this particular development. Personally I'm not in favour of the super large turbines which are being suggested and I think some of the environmental credentials are still questionable but there's no denying that it could provide a real financial benefit to our community. There is also no denying there is some decent wind strength at this particular point on the road as the sign has been damaged several times.
