Two Hats Are Better Than One

For all of you who are breathlessly following The Hat Saga--here it is!! Successfully felted by one of my knitting buddies who has a top-loading washer with water hot enough to boil a lobster! Several of us took turns doing the final stretching over a perfectly head-sized bowl, and there you go. 

The presents are finally wrapped, but not under the tree. I'm sure the cats would make quick work of all those curly ribbons and lovely chewable paper. They've been excellent about the tree, but I don't want to push my luck.
