Love is in the Air

On  mission this afternoon to get a shot of the juvenile black-throated diver which has been hanging around in a random fashion on a lake in Redditch. 

If you peek at the Extra he is there. A bird on Amber status on the UK conservation list and I was so pleased to get the shot.

However I just loved watching the great-crested grebes which were elegantly doing their courtship display on the water; head bobbing and mimicking each other with the moves, followed by a bit of grooming and fishing. Delightful.
