Brekke Waterfalls

The Akerselva River is the "vein of Oslo", running from lake Maridalsvannet, which is Oslo's main supply of drinking water, through the city's most populated areas, ending in the Oslo Fjord.

Brekke waterfall is the second waterfall of the river. The building to the right is Brekke power station, built in 1892. To the right of the power station, but not in the picture, is the supermarket where we do our shopping.
