Dirt road

Today I experimented with various iso settings with and without a tripod. I couldn't seem to find a good combination for my first set and did some online searching for camera setting charts. I didn't really find anything that nailed it down, but I did read about something called sunny 16 where you use f16 and comparable iso to shutter speed. I tried it, but it didn't work at all. 
The shots I take with the lower iso seem to be easier for me to figure out the aperture and shutter than when I use a high iso.
