Barney arrives.

It’s taken months to move house and in the interim my tropical fish having been temporarily living at my mothers.

Today Barney travelled in a poly bag from there to pick up a second hand aquarium and onward to his new home “on island”.

We travelled through rural Ayrshire around the area where I used to live over a decade ago. In those days I was married. Weird that I’d be back in the company of a Thai fish.

Barney is a Betta (Splendends). His new tank is bare but will be aquascaped shortly.

Barney’s nineteen legless pals are still at granny’s.
