Gagaku

An evening at Kobe City’s international New Year party with the mayor started with a gagaku performance.

Gagaku is the oldest form of classical music in Japan played on traditional instruments such as the koto, sho and biwa.

An interesting evening that I was able to share with a lovely friend.
