Bridge to the Beguinages, Bruges

Arrived in Bruges this evening to be greeted by this view at the end of Weijngaardstraat, where our hotel is situated. The bridge leads to the Beguinages, a cloister of beautiful whitewashed houses, where single women lived a devoted religious lifewithout taking vows.
