This wall box faces due North in a dirty grey wall.  It gets very little direct sunlight and even though I went out early (on the way to the paper shop) to try for a pic with some easterly light it was still a grey shot.  My interest in this is the weathered condition of the box itself.

Post boxes in the United Kingdom bearing GR show the Royal Cypher of King George V, who reigned for 26 years from 6 May 1910 to 20 January 1936.
