(035) Look Closer....

Zeiss GeminiSEM 450 field emission scanning electron microscope. Currently the only one of its kind in the UK, recently installed at the MCS Group, in Edinburgh. 

The main shot was taken on a visit to the MCS lab and today's extra shot is at the opposite end of the engineering spectrum, and from a different era altogether, and was taken whilst on the way back to Fife.
