Fancy

What a fancy bird a starling is! I have had a few more of the starlings appearing at the feeders. Not a horde by any means - but three or four instead of just the one I reported a few days ago. I expect it's a slippery slope.

Also - for those of you who are following along - yesterday at The Wildlife Center I found that the dove had died. Both the student who had been primarily caring for it and I were very sad. Apparently it died under anesthesia while one of the vets was trying to remove some necrotic tissue and suture up the wound.
