Monday 10 December 2012: A bit late for l'heure bleue

I'm a bit late for the blue hour today. I got a nice shot a few weeks ago: 29 October 2012. Today it twilight was fully in bed by the time I left work.

Instead for today's Advent Challenge I've gone with the late theme. It's a close up shot of my Lorus wrist watch. I originally had a nice slow shutter speed and tiny aperture but that made the sweep hand turn into an annoying blur. I jacked up the ISO setting a little and made the aperture larger so the shutter was fast enough to freeze the sweep hand.
