Great Egret

I played my first round of golf today. It was a bit cold and windy at first, but seeing this egret on #3 spurred me on to stick with it. We are glad we did. The wind didn't come up like they had predicted so we basically had the course to ourselves.

The extra shows the par 5 on "the lava holes". You see Snow Canyon on the left and Pine Valley Mountain on the right (it is the one that peeks over the ridge in my backyard shots). 

Each new experience makes me grateful that we made that snap decision to move up here. I am handling the colder climate and getting used to the rain. It's all good.
