Thanks to the generosity of a family member, instead of the usual outing on my mountain bike, this afternoon, a ride on a proper road bike. Chalk and cheese springs to mind!

The weather was sunny and mild at about 12C, a bit warm for my winter wear, I'll have to bring out the shorts soon at this rate!

Thanks to the DIY taking longer than hoped, I managed only 25 miles this afternoon, heading home before running out of light.

Not too long to wait before the cycle scheme kicks off again!
