It is hoped that something milkish and filling late in the wingpiglet-day will prevent any sort of far-too-early wake-ups, if hunger is the reason. Though his waking words often concern the imminence of breakfast he can't have been hungry enough to have woken up because of it on the occasions when we knew they were his waking words as we'd had to go into his room to wake him up. If there was any reliable way of telling when a toddler was genuinely hungry it'd be very useful for situations like this, but when asking for wee snacks can occur within minutes of large meals a toddler asking for food cannot be considered a reliable indicator. If it wasn't for the occasional half-finishing of something we know he really like like yoghurt we'd be half-suspecting him of having that thing some people have where they can't tell when they're flupped.
