Old Hat

I suppose I have to acknowledge that today's blip is a bit old hat .... but that's probably because it IS an old hat. In fact it is my summer "go anywhere" hiking hat. It has accompanied me on many an adventure along with my handy Canon G12 and the excellent Nikon D40 which went before it.

I'm afraid I have a fondness for photographic "studies" of inanimate objects. I just love light, shadow, texture, detail and mellow colours. I hope you do too.
