Afterglow....

Some weeks ago I bought a $2.00 raffle ticket at a Supermarket. Some College students were raising money for a sports team trip to Auckland. The prize was a load of firewood and this afternoon the ticket seller and sons delivered it. They even stacked it for us. We feel very lucky to have won the firewood and are grateful to the folk for stacking it. They did a great job.
This evening Keith and I drove out to Friends who live in Riverlands to the southeast of Blenheim. They hosted a barbeque for mostly Camera Club Friends. It was a farewell event as they have sold their lovely home and and will move to Nelson later this year. Their home is beside the Opawa River, very tranquil this evening.
