I remember it well.

A bright sunny and windy day, perfect for drying my towels.
The wind however is very cold!

Our monthly wine club meeting is at a new venue tonight.
Arnold’s. in Leeds city centre.
Someone from Majestic Wines is coming to do the presentation, so there should be a wide variety of styles, countries, and prices.
Using our bus passes to get into Leeds, and one of our other members is kindly dropping us off on his way home.
Looking forward to an interesting evening with good food, wine, and company.

By the way I took delivery of the “ freebie” from Lakeland this morning.
A superb knife with a self sharpening cover.
Much larger than I thought. Was certainly worth the hassle, as it will be very useful.
