Pittenweem Harbour, Looking Down

It was rainy in the morning so we had a lazy morning with a wander round Pittenweem before lunch. For lunch we tried the fairly new The Dory Bistro and Gallery. It is dog friendly during the day. Very much more a Bisrto/restaurant than a cafe and although the owner was very friendly and welcoming I was very glad that Fergus behaved himself.

After lunch we went through to St Andrews. We did go down to the West sands byt decided not to walk along the beach since it was so cold and windy. The streets of the old town and the little shops were more appealing and much more sheltered.

Snow was forecast, and we could see some snow on the hills across the Forth in the Lothians from Pittenweem. We hoped the rods would be clear for the trip home !
