Feeding station

A much clearer and lighter day today. Looking from the bedroom window I can see Chris topping up the bird feeders in our neighbours garden. (One of his duties whilst they are away.)

As you can see there are lots of feeders and he gets lots of birds visiting, probably why we get hardly any at ours! I regularly see a pair of lovely Jays here and have even seen them flying over from the edge of the village.

Waiting for Alex (No 1 son)to come home from northern Scotland today - soi glad he didn't try to come yesterday. He will be home for 3 weeks. Then we may go to the Fleece tonight (see One Street 2 here) as Alan the landlord has been there 21 years and is hopefully retiring very soon. So a little celebration.

The biggest excitement today though is that Chris got his bus pass in the post!! The world is his oyster.
