Rainbow Rising

The tides coincide with the sun just now - a huge spring tide from 0.9metres at dawn to 5.6metres at sunset. Very low, very high. The weather decided to join in this morning, throwing into the mix rain over the sea with a clear horizon to the south east. So as the sun rose over the Lammermuirs, the huge waves lit up, and the low sun created a huge rainbow. Wonderful!

More Is Better.

After a late brunch, we headed to Dunbar to buy Katie some winter boots and have a pizza. Then the older lads headed home and the rest of us went down to the harbour for high tide - along with half the town! It was busy down there... Particularly fun when a wave washed over me and filled my jacket hood with water ;)
