So the need to recover from a conference by sea resulted in a short break by the sea.

Who knew Boscombe (a suburb of Bournemouth as far as I can tell - but I wouldn't say that to the residents) was so hip, cool, trendy and surfy!

Everyone's heard of the Bournemouth surf reef? Well it's actually in Boscombe. You can see why the residents might be a little touchy...

Anyway - two days of huddling out of the pissy rain and shivering ice-cream eating. Then our final day bathed us in the most glorious Autumn sunshine.
