New beginnings

A Chino walk up at St Ives today where hundreds of proud and tall pine trees have been chopped down due to disease.  The landscape and views have quite changed up there as a result but reassuring today to see hundreds of new saplings planted.  They're not firs, and I'm intrigued to know what trees they are.  I'm hoping for a forest of blossom trees :)))) Local blippers may know? 

Then a tonic of a catch up with big sis Shazza who was visiting Pappa and me....the daily issues continue with him and I'm so thankful for her support.
