Our Local Footpath

Today the weather is glorious, wall-to-wall sunshine although it still had a slight winter chill. We went shopping and then had lunch out before returning home. As we passed the footpath about one hundred metres from our front door, I thought what an interesting blip it might make for today.

This picture shows the footpath sign on the left together with the rustic steps leading from the road up to the start of the footpath across the fields. At this time of year everything is a little bleak, but I will photograph this at different periods later in the year, to show the changes and some more of this footpath.

Mrs GOG has been nagging me to join in with the 'One Street' project; she has used our local lane and Station Road which are joined y the railway station, so why should I not use our local footpath, which runs for several miles.
