Water, Wires and Wings

Last week I drove past a reservoir but didn't have time to stop; it looked quite interesting so I added Graincliffe Reservoir to my notebook of places to visit.

It was a bit disappointing that there wasn't a path round it, but there was a sort of jetty full of gulls that took off as we approached, which you can see in shadow and light against the clouds in this photo.

Hope you all had a great weekend - mine was nicely chilled although I still haven't done my Christmas shopping.... But there's plenty of time isn't there?
