Spring thaw reveals where the bodies are

I saw grass today for the first time in five months. I can't explain what that means in less than an essay, so I'll stop there.

Unfortunately, it also revealed the darker side of Ottawa. (Here I am dropping into Johnny Stecchino mode...)

I come from England where litter is a way of life. But in Canada, it's almost unheard of (at least during normal times). But it seems the endless winter of 2019 has dulled citizen responsibilities... and the melt of snow has revealed the extent of Ottawa je m'en foutisme. 

Fortunately, the "Clean Up the Capital" teams are scheduling their volunteer work force as we speak....
