Edinburgh's End

Edinburgh from the Botanic Gardens, towards the setting sun at 3pm today. Today was my last working day in Edinburgh this year and I wanted to record the city in some way. I worked through lunch and set out at 2.30. The sky was overcast but I was lucky to catch this brief clarity over the Pentlands.

Large Lothian.

After that I pretty much wound down for the holidays, and after a self-indulgent trip to the CD shop (Alt-J, The xx, Tame Impala) it was nice to share a beer with an old pal on the train.

S0, three weeks off now. Let's get used to it :)
