Melrose Has the Answer ........

Isn't it nice to go out in the evening when it is still light? Even if there's snow on the hills and the temperature is in low single figures.

No singing or stitching today, the Easter break has begun. It was the last night of dancing at Melrose, and we had a little party afterwards. 

This is the Parish Churcth, 18th century austere Presbyterian, with the most uncomfortable pews my bottom has ever encountered. Luckily we dance in the Church Hall, which has all the modern conveniences, and a nice floor to boot.

Melrose's claim to fame is that it invented Rugby 7s. They still have an annual tournament and it's happening very soon.

 I'm not sure if the sign outside the church is to encourage the local team, to inspire all of us to be more spiritual, or a suggestion for what we could do to solve the Brexit debacle.
