Rain, Steam and Fog
G, H and I went for a walk this morning from Sheringham Park to Weybourne Station and back. Fog was forecast until 10, then light rain for an hour - it actually chucked it down at 9:45 and we had to take shelter and the fog never lifted. The fog we didn't mind as we thought we could get some atmospheric shots, but getting very wet wasn't so nice, particularly as it was cold here today. Fortunately there was a nice coal fire at Weybourne station where we stopped for a cuppa and dried out.
We saw a few steam trains, although they had problems with the guest engine I posted on Friday setting fire to some shrubland and then after a quick fix it failed and was taken out of service. I did feel sorry for all the volunteers - not the best day to persuade visitors to choose to travel by steam train. I've posted another shot in Extras of the steam train travelling through the fog. Still an enjoyable walk and photo session.
