Memories

Second shot at the TT challenge. The theme was Memories so this is a close up of something associated with Africa and my childhood, it currently lives in Mums house. It is a bronze and antelope hide fire screen ....the bronze is a bit tarnished but I liked the close up of the fur. It would very unacceptable now to buy one but in the 1960’s it was considered OK. I have included a picture of the fire screen in the extras.
Otherwise a busy old day today taking M out and about. We spent the afternoon with a lovely group of ladies from quilting, lots of laughter and chat.
