Meet Mojo

Mojo is a Havanese Silk purebred. Havanese are Cuban dogs originally used as chicken herders. They typically have long and curly coats. A mutant gene sometimes produces a shorter, straight hair that is silky smooth. Mojo is very good around children, our Lab and our cats. he is easily spooked, however, and will bark aggressively if I walk back in from the garage wearing a hat.

Mojo greets me each night as I arrive home with enthusiasm, sitting with this look until I give him attention. I appreciate this affection, because the rest of the time he's my wife's dog exclusively. Thanks for my evening welcome home, Mojo!
