Painted pebble

I’d just written my journal in Notes in the iPhone, highlighted the text ready to copy, then went to check something and deleted it. There’s no way back. I’m having to write it again.

Covered 10 miles today, early stroll in Mote Park and a longer walk with a wheelchair (with Doreen in it) along the seafront between Hythe and Sandgate.

We’re enjoying the unusual occurrence of a fine Easter long weekend while at the same time conscious of the implication that the weather may well be a consequence of climate change.

We also enjoyed a super scone and cup of tea at the Boathouse Cafe at the point of turnaround. It’s a new cafe and is a welcome addition to the seafront. The painted pebbles prompted me to look into how they are done. There were other examples such as painted chairs and a stool. All very jolly. A great place to watch the world and all and sundry pass by.

Roast shoulder of lamb for dinner which also went down very well.

The theme for MonoMonday (MM274) is Opposites. I’m looking forward to seeing your interpretations.
