Power and majesty

Had to blip Niagara falls, which are amazing, but wanted something a little different to the standard images (though you can see them in the extras!). This is taken from below the falls. A number of tunnels have been blasted in the rock behind the falls to let tourists get closer. There is the observation deck from which this was taken (the pile of stuff in the bottom right is not rock, it's chips of shale which have fallen off the rock and mixed up with ice and snow over the winter) and then two openings directly behind the falls, one of which was roped off. My friend and I caused all sorts of strange looks for getting to the front of the long, slow queue and actually looking at the water rather than taking selfies! Though to be honest it's more the sound and the vibration which get you rather than the white curtain in front of you. God's creation is amazing, even when surrounded by a huge tourist trap!
