Tonight was a Feuerzangenbowle evening at friends...we eat and drink and then part way through the evening the hot glühwein is flamed with rum being poured over a sugar cone (don't ask)
It's a very sociable and entertaining evening, but I think Karen & Sven need nerves of (inflamable) steel to this, apparently their last house had scorch marks on the ceiling, and even tonight Sven managed to torch the bottle of rum...
