A precious dvd

One of the things my children planned was to source this film of a play performed by the National Theatre. It is one of my favourite books and I saw this production in New Zealand and it had such an impact on me. A few years later we got tickets to see the play performed in London and it was stunning. So my daughter sourced this dvd of what I had seen in New Zealand which was no easy task. It was a fantastic surprise. Alas despite various efforts we could not get it to play but we will one day. It’s a great novel and play. Despite being unwell last night it’s been a lovely weekend with lots of surprises.
