I love to watch a bit of hard work...

Finalised the last few presents that were required today, but not before a leisurely start to the day, including T from next door popping over for a drink at morning tea time. We'd just had some amazing pikelets with some of her boysenberries, so had sent the girls over with some, and she accompanied them home.

Went to the shops, VERY pleased that we just had to do a dash in and out, but had real difficulty getting sellotape. Sorted at the Post Office back near home.

Did some gardening in preparation for planting the seedlings that T had given me in the morning, as the ground was a touch weed laden and solid from lack of rain. While I was doing that, the Husband started to help me, and managed to Fork his big toe. He was VERY lucky that he hadn't dropped the fork from a higher height, as the blades on it are super sharp. He opted to do the lawn instead after being bandaged up and having a coffee to recover. Meanwhile the girls were having water bomb fights.

Grandma and Daddad came over for a BBQ tea. Very yummy. They brought over a table for us which will come in very handy on Christmas day. We're having 12 adults and 6 kids here, I think if my counting is right.

Project for tomorrow...what on earth are we eating on Christmas day???
